I've dynoed to the wheels - 477 on 80% ethanol. It's too much to make these fast and close to safe at it.

I had an STi with meth and big turbo. Now I have an ISF. Both are great.

I was looking into going to an IS500, but I'm not a fan of the auto trans, and they are impossible to get your hands on anyways.

Knee surgery makes auto nice for me. Had a heavy ACT clutch in my STi. Ouch in DC traffic.

Wife has a BMW 6 peed coupe thing. I can drive it to scratch the manual itch.

Understandable, I live out in the sticks & wfh, the IS is the first auto I've owned that wasn't a winter beater.

If you get a chance drive an ISF. The trans tuning is quite nice and fast. I was skeptical at first but liked it enough to buy new in 2010
