The bathroom wars in six “easy to understand” pics

This is Sarah McBride - the gorgeous trans congresswoman from Delaware that the GOP is trying to make use the mens room. They say she’s clearly a man (they’re wrong) but they mean she might not match their idea of a woman.

And this is me (on the left - with a beautiful AFAB friend on the right). I’m a brick. That means I’m pretty unlikely to pass as a AFAB and I definitely don’t match the GOP idea of a woman. Their mindset is I don’t make women feel safe in a restroom SO I should also be forced to use the mens room.

This is another beautiful woman (AFAB) who is bald and tattooed. She might also make some MAGA women uncomfortable in the ladies room. But she isn’t trans.

This is a handsome as all hell trans man. He is not likely to be ‘clocked’ but by some of these laws, he would be required to go in the women’s bathroom. Evidently because if only AFAB are in the women’s room, no men can sneak in.

And finally…these are just a few MAGA ladies who believe they have the right to decide all this. Honestly, there’s nothing wrong with them physically. I am more afraid of their hats and T-shirts than any outward appearance. Throw a Clash shirt or a pride hat on any one of them and I would likely think them an ally. But we’re probably the same age and currently in the same bathroom. And according to them, someone is going to have to look at Sarah, me, or Gravebro, Flower_hers, or these MAGA ladies and start making choices about who belongs. If for some reason you think this makes sense, we haven’t even started with nonbinary people.

Of course heres some AMAB or CIS men. I wouldn’t be comfortable in any room with these guys for any number of reasons and neither should you…and it’s already true they don’t worry about dressing like a woman in order to assault them.
