I just picked up an RX 6900 XT. Was not cheap, but at least it’s a card that’ll last me a while now :)

All these years later, I'm still rolling with a 1080Ti. I heard recently that I could sell it for more than it was new. Craziness.

Good ol’ GTX 1060 has been with me for five long years like the champ it is. If it can run Doom Eternal smoothly, it’s good enough for me.

the pain is real. luckily nvidia are putting out new cards, and they are being made with versions that are hardware locked to hamper mining

Which is kind of irrelevant since eth(main crypto to mine now) will switch to POS mining July and alt coin mining won't be very profitable

Until that hardware lock gets broken... again...

It's designed specifically to produce low hash rates, there wont be a way around it. plus it was previously a software lock that got fixed

If by 'fixed', you mean 'Nvidia derped out', then yes.

yeah, i couldnt fit that into the text box. nvidia released a driver update that fixed their software lockout, for anyone else wondering.
