cast_iron

I had one that was made for cooking one slightly oversized brownie. Seemed a bit like a waste of iron, though.

Interesting to note: many of those small iron pans come with enough ingredients to make one fat cookie. You can find them in the holiday gifts at Wally World.

Restaurant I used to work at had ~50 of those lil cast irons. We used them to make little chocolate chip cookies. We'd serve it right in the hot cast with a big ol scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Put in honey with a sprig of rosemary & infuse for a bit. Brush onto prosciutto and bake in oven to make crispy, sweet, savory ham chips. They're unreal.

One time on vacation we went to a restaurant by our hotel and in little pans like this, they served a warm brownie with a scoop of ice cream, whipped cream and covered in chocolate syrup. Kids are grown but we still do it on special occasions.

Yep! I got one of these as a funny gift and I’ve used it twice, both times to make tiny breakfast sandwiches.

A good gooey cookie might be made in it too.

*egg...Ok, maybe two, but only if they were good friends.

It's for presentation, not quantity. You could make a lot of different individual portions of something in that, slap it on a mini cutting board, and voila, your guests are impressed.
