Thanks for all your support about how Fin should be allowed in the studio. I showed my boss all your comments, and he relented, for now. Yes, it is a pottery studio filled with fragile things but in the 2 years I have had Fin, he has never broken anything. He just sleeps. Thank you.
And most importantly, Fin thanks you too.
JoshJitsu
My Bernese would definitely break everything. He's a hyper little shit.

Aww
AvJeo
What a good boy
milvie
As a high school ceramic teacher I'm kinda cringing about how much dust is in his coat
AluminiumFalcon
As long as your coworkers are okay with it. I'm HIGHLY allergic to cats, and if someone wanted to bring one to work that's a no go.
fyrekitten
I am the only worker for my boss. He just does not like dogs, he thinks they are useless.
Kmillar99
I have a mountain dog mixed with a lab called Fynn. He's a bit of an ass but I love him.
HasturShoggoth
He is the goodest doggo.
exitparadise
If I had that much fur I would not be in a pottery studio. What with the kiln and all.
xDisabledxTacox
Is no one worried about the doggie breathing in all of the clay dust floating around?
RA11628653
Good thought. He should have at least a blanket to lie on.
xDisabledxTacox
Yeah long term exposure can cause some diseases in people. I can't imagine it's not the same for dogs.
continuousrasterization
I'd be worried about dog hair in the glazes
fyrekitten
It burns away with no problem, the kiln goes to 2245 degrees.
continuousrasterization
I always wondered! Thanks for the answer
UnnecessaryTeenageEyeroll
I just followed you. You better post pics of that good boy every dog darn day or else
fyrekitten
Yes sir!
BDMatelier
Id be more concerned with him breathing in dust and what not.
fyrekitten
Yup, we both leave work every day dusty and clay covered, but he would rather be at my side then outside.
themuttonisniceandlean
My dog has a similar tail and it's like a feather duster and never knocks anything over. Now, a labrador tail would destroy that store.
fyrekitten
Thankfully he does not wag his tail much, he is too busy laying down and sleeping.
goldenretrievers
Love you Finn!
RA11628653
Bernese are one of the breeds crossed to produce Golden Retrievers. Their gentle disposition is wonderful.
fyrekitten
He is totally gentle and quiet, he is a real lazy mellow boy
Freakyfrek
Fin looks like a good boy!
fyrekitten
He is the best of boys, quiet and gentle, he just wants to be where I am.
secretagentdoubleobeaver
There's no such thing as a dangerous Burnese
geonerd
They're super-gentle, and at least mine hates knocking stuff over...even by accident.

LOL, there was some pretty harsh things said about your boss in the comments, @op. Lucky you still have your job.
fyrekitten
My boss found it really funny. He just is not a dog person or an animal person.
LosPer
Hahahaha, at least he does not take himself too seriously...
