I know, they suck. All maga propaganda. Anti science, anti truth, anti fact. Its easy to run away to here, Bluesky, certain groups in Reddit. In our absence the bot farms and lies from the top are reaching the easily suckered thru these social media platforms and pushing the narritive without resistance.
As much as it feels shouting into the void we need to keep trying to flood these propaganda echo chambers with reality. Video on the ground of these supposed violent cities. These "violent" protests. The legaleese behind the power grab and grift thru legislation.
Maybe you can't be boots on the ground in a protest. Blocking ICE vehicles. Broadcasting the questions that get trumps administration backed into a corner. We can all take part in the information warfare that has driven this situation to where it is. While most of the comments you will address will be bot farms or AI there are still real people browsing these threads and forming opinions. Even if its just getting them to pause and do a little research, to think for themselves rather than just the endless scroll it will be worth it. It is straight up information warfare and we can all do a small part to try and bring this situation back towards sanity. We have all the informational ammo we could ever need at our fingertips. Now we just need to send it where it needs to go.

Understandable but thats the reason its such a huge maga echo chamber now cus most of us have gotten fed up and moved on to more palatable platforms. I stay there because of work groups and of course the more interaction I do with fox and their friends the more the algorythm sends me that way. Again, it feels like a lost cause but if enough of us head back there and disrupt the status quo maybe daddy trump gets mad at the zucker and puts him in time out. Hit em in the wallet.

You have the causal relationship backwards.
When people say “the algorithm”, it doesn’t reference an independent entity that reacts solely to your interactions. It’s a tool designed to subtly influence opinion on a mass scale. Those sites aren’t MAGA hellholes because sane people left; they’re MAGA hellholes because that’s what their owners wish and they’d like nothing more than more people to influence and harvest. The algorithm is not under your control.

Right. Thats my entire point. They successfully disgusted people enough that they left and the ones that remain love that particular flavor of koolaid. Thats why im saying we need to return and obstruct. Throw reality into these free running propaganda threads. Engage again and make them have to work hard to keep their sheep in line.

Nah brother you arent understanding. Takin it to the comments. Unless someone is actively removing them, the activity moves them to the top of the list. Like whats goin on here. The more you and I talk here it keeps getting bumped up in usersub and upvotes keep happening. Engage enough then most viral. FB works along the same way it keeps those most engaged comments near the top where you see em first when you stumble on the original post. And if the owner bot never manually deletes your comment
