Hey Aussies, it's your Commonwealth sister from Canada here. I'm visiting Brisbane late February and I'm looking for some suggestions. Tell me, what's your favourite:
- Place to hike, cycle or swim
- Best Australian beer
- Place to get said best beer and listen to some live music
- Any kooky, zany or outrageous attractions or sights.

Sadly I dont have much wiggle room on the location, but I'll be leaving Canadian winter for sunshine so I'm not going to complain.

good luck finding good live music, industy is almost dead in aust these days unless you wont a cover band

And that's a problem because, 'the best beer', IMO, is in Sydney or Adelaide, and not distributed in Queensland. But I've not sampled all.

FYI Akasha Brewing in Sydney, and PirateLife in South Australia...IMO.
