This is my daughter's fish. We noticed he wasn't doing well and then she finally admitted she wasn't keeping up with the maintenance on the tank
He's lethargic and the other fish are starting to nip at his fins
If anybody could give me any advice on how to help him that would be awesome I just don't want the little guy to die and I don't want him to suffer he's a good fish

I once had 2 goldfish, one decided it should slowly eat the other, by way of a thousand tiny bites.

The red patches on his fins make me worried he could have septicemia. If so, he need the appropriate aquarium antibiotic to treat it. 1/2

Also VERY clean H2O. Food-based antibiotics vs. in-water are best, but not all fish eat them. Hopefully he's not too ill to recover. 2/2

Need your tank parameters before anything else. Nitrites, Nitrates,
