Head out about 3k from sol. Jump around any O class and chill. usually a few high metal worlds but the odd earthlike is a great fine.

When you say "found", a assume you mean that you found it outside human-colonized space?

Nobody's name on it yet.

That ship seriously needs some maintenance.

Modules and hull are both fine. I kind of like the paint all trashed - you can't fake mileage like that.

I haven't played elite in a while but I never clean my ships in eve, I like the worn look

My maiden voyage on my asp took me 20k-ish light years out. Didn't find an earth like till 16000.

If that's the maiden voyage, I'd hate to hear what you consider a long trip, lol. First DBX trip was about 2k, this is going to be 5500.

I was half tempted to go 5k more to see sag a* but I decided against it.

Is the game worth it? I loved freelancer.

I've been musing on the similarities to Freelancer recently! I'm going to say yes, but other players can wreck your day. 1/2

I recommend either avoiding people, using the "solo play" mode, or joining a private group with a no PvP rule... or keep your guard up. 2/2

Solo play it is. I hate online trolling you can't opt out of.

I've only personally met a couple of bad apples, but I understand.
