My grandpa had a lab mix she loved taking baths if you just looked at her and said bath she would run in the bathroom and jump in the tub

Serious business getting scrubed up perhaps :::singing a tune might help for pretty pooch :: cat likes a freah scent too

The one labeled "the horror" to meet looks like "the darkness" .... ........ my old friend.

what a super cute pup

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

to avoid bath trauma, give them treats while they are sitting in the tub then let them get out on their own, eventually they come to 1/2

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

associate it with treats and good times.

The derp.

And directly after bath the running around and rolling around in the grass . Ensuring grass stains (I had a white dog).

I miss my dog... she used to bowl us over trying to get IN the shower/bath with us. Unlike her mother. Fought like a cat to stay dry.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

With my dog you'd have to include a stage for drinking the water directly out of the faucet

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The last one should have been labeled "The pkoting"

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My dog if she even hears the word "bath" goes and hides

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

FP!! She's a deserving dog! Thanks!

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Give the cat a bath and send us pics.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can't believe how beautiful your dog is, I love him!!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I washed our dog the other, she hates getting a bath, but loves the walk afterwards. She gave the betrayal look when I didn't walk her.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That was a rollercoster of emotions. Your doggo reminds me of my chocolate lab Duke. I miss and love you chocolate man!!! You went too soon.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That last pic should have just said "The cat"

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

you forgot the "run around house with joy that it's over" followed by "pawing the snout like just got done eating food" stages.

The comment

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The running into the garden and immediately rolling in a dead hedgehog.

9 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Or in my Ralph's case, a freshly laid turd mound :p

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

oh my dog loves to roll in dung. bird poop. dog poop.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Now do one with giving Max a bath.

9 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

Max is ancient. He'd be less than appreciative

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

How ancient, my cat's 19 and haven't met someone with an older one yet

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

I think the oldest cat recorded was almost thirty

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He's not as ancient as yours! I believe he's around 14 or 15

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Give me a bath, I fucking dare you. @Nikilynn0125

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The eyes, the lab, the better smelling lab, then the first walk after the bath and finding something stinky to roll in LAB

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yes! Her favorite things are worms. Ugh

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My baby bless her heart once found something so bad after a bath I can't even post it here or anywhere

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'd give anything to have it all again. So enjoy your stinking lab , lol ???? bath lab and stinking lab they rock

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Get in the bath with your pupper. The look of confusion, then of joy is amazing.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My dog hates baths. Maybe this will help

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i tried this . unfortunately he was still afraid. my pupper shakes, he gets so afraid.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is there actually a scientific reason why dogs hate baths so much? Is it the noise of the water and their sensitive hearing?

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It could be that the bath water is so cold. Dogs have a higher body temperature than people.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think they don't like their smell changed. They like to stink!

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I think that's why they roll around and run dirt and grass on themselves. So they can get their smell back on them.

You forgot "The zoomies". Never once had a dog that didn't run laps around the house like a demented psychopath after a bath.

Post bath zooms are the best!

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

I call it post bath naked romp. Even if I don't wash her head she goes crazy rubbing it in the carpet.

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

DRY OFF ON EVERYTHING

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Ayup. First your dog rolls in cow afterbirth, then you chuck him in a trough to rinse, then hurl him an old towel to run excitedly around

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

the house with. n.b. Stage 1 may be more difficult with larger dogs.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have a bath zoomie post on my page!

9 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

I was gonna comment about that too. Our terrier-mix used to go absolutely nuts.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Dude, what is that? Our far little sausage dog would lose her shit after every bath

9 years ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 0

The zoomies are where a dog who's had a bath runs around like Mr Freeze is on its ass

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*fat

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

My mini dachshund would do that too.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

My dog zoomies and rubs herself all over ever square inch of carpet in the house. Looks like she got electrocuted the way her fur sticks up!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

rubbing up against the furniture, the walls, the carpet....

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

And the shakes

We used to have to put out towels and stand on them to keep them still, otherwise he would use our beds to dry off in between zooms

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I think you deserve many upvotes for that title! I hope you get them :)

9 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 0

I'm alive, I'm a survivor, I perseveeeeeeeered

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

decent zoomies

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Yippee! OP delivers!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You know I don't think mine would. She doesn't like water, but she's super docile. She won't fight you.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm talking about after the bath is over and after you've dried them off. Your dog doesn't get the zoomies? Weird.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well I don't give her a bath myself. I take her to a groomer. And after she's usually just excited to GTFO, not that she runs around.
