Didn't realize this was Eddie Steeples break back in 2004 and eventually lead him to play Darnell on, "Life of Earl"

The framing of him pushing a cart around is less like a guy providing office supplies and more like old school mail delivery in big offices where there was a dedicated person going around with just such a cart delivering mail to each desk. Understandable to mistake it for something mail-related I would say.

Human brains don’t remember exact information so much as we remember associations between concepts. If you miss the specific detail that the guy was delivering office supplies, this commercial seems entirely different.

The files *do* become quite squishy over time. I think a lot of it had to do with the blue button down and how I always used to collect the rubberbands from the mailman and make balls from them.
