I'm sure I'm the only person who thinks like this...

Like when there's a picture of a pitbull looking sad or dejected, there's at least two people in the comments writing in all Caps, "YOU PET/COMFORT/HUG/LOVE THAT PIBBLE RIGHT NOW." Most people may appreciate it, but to me it just gets extremely annoying. You shouldn't stop just because one guy on the internet thinks it's annoying, but at least consider that the OP did what you "demanded" before you even made the demand.
