Nah. First, Iran's nuclear weapons program was ruinously expensive and they have a lot of conventional military power that needs rebuilding. Second, they have demonstrated that they can close the Strait of Hormuz, which is strategically more flexible and more powerful than a small nuclear arsenal. Third, they need France, the UK, China, and Russia onboard, and those four do not want Iran to have nuclear weapons.

The NPT is not just between US and Iran but international and Iran never officially left this in order to not alienate other trade partners. They probably started cheating on it but you can't really blame them for that, since the only carrot in this treaty is, that other local powers also have no nuclear weapons (which is wrong, Israel has got them them) and the few nations that have them act as arbiters of peace (which is also wrong, US and Russia are in a new Imperial age).

The Obama deal (JCPOA) had strict caps on enrichment percentage and quantities that went much further than the NPT. Plus the monitoring was far more robust and more rigid.
Iran's been asserting their right to enrich since Trump ripped up the deal. This just puts them back on the path they were on 3 months ago.
