Unless the ATF continues to register silencers with a $0 tax, civilians in those states that require registration with the ATF will be unable to purchase new silencers.

Deregulating SBRs and suppressors is honestly something I'm in support of. SBR laws are kinda goofy and outdated (a rifle with a very short barrel is LESS effective, not more, and Al Capone and Bonnie & Clyde aren't walking around anymore), and suppressors absolutely do not work like they do in the movies. Most people just want them for hearing protection.

When I formed a trust, I just included a copy of the trust with the application.
Obama's 41F increased the paperwork for trustees, but eliminated the CLEO signature requirement. What other forms are you submitting?

Did you e-file or was it through paper? Also I suppose I was generalizing more for the amount of work involving doing it through a trust, which is normally the recommendation I give to people since it can be offer more protection. Silencershop has their one and done trust service which also reduces headaches to an extent but I was advised by a lawyer friend that it can be better to avoid those if purchasing multiple cans.

I have only done paper applications. When I started using a trust, I sent in a copy of the trust along with a check, no more fingerprints or photos. That has changed since 41F in 2016.
What other forms are you sending to the ATF? The tax stamp applications clearly state which forms/paperwork are to sent in. It is never a massive amount of paperwork by any stretch of the imagination, in my opinion.
