The one commercial that made me laugh this year was the Pepsi polar bears

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

So it was not a Doritos commercial?

Fun fact! The Lonely Island was commissioned to do a Doritos commercial and it was so intentionally bad they decided never to air it. 😂

Never saw this one, definitely miles better than the majority of the ads last night. I always liked this doritos finalist, can't find a better version of it but then it is from two decade ago https://youtu.be/BZnnHtwEVcM

That was fantastic :)

Haha this is good

I like that one. Less niolent than most. I only made it to the top 10 with this one, but I do think they ran it some online.
Of course, my Silence of the Doritos is legendary in the Doritos marketing offices.

Let’s see it! Please and thank you.

I had a version with goodbye horses, but this is the one I submitted to the contest with their music. https://youtu.be/SWeqo6CxvS8?si=EqcICst0VW5iMHsB

yeah that was actually really good

That ad is indescribably awful. Did not watch the Stupid Bowl. Is great the Seahawks prevailed. The Pats owner is a Trump donor.

Who shit in your cheerios? This ad is hilarious.

We have opinions.

Was there a Doritos commercial this year? I don't remember seeing one.

A person can`t get enough saturated fats.

Ain't that the truth

The only ad for anything that wasn't AI that stuck in my mind was the one for Levi's jeans.

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

There was some nice hineys in that one ...lol

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Exactly why it was memorable.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah, not this year. The theme this year was apparently celebrities

5 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Like Mike Tyson trying to tell us to eat real food. Bitch, WTF is REAL food anyway? Quarantine your CTE ass, rapist fucker (not you, Tyson, of course).

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

the past few years seemed like it was "lets cram as many celebrities in the commercial about insurance/uber eats/crypto" and now it's all about AI.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don't think they did one. They stopped the contest after they realized they should have been sued over who won the last year.

5 months ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 2

what happened?

5 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

The guy who won was the director of TOSH.0 and his wife was an agent of the NFL. Both things should have disqualified him according to their rules.

"Abduction" won last year, submitted by Dylan Bradshaw and Nate Norell, neither of which is listed as a Director for Tosh.0, according to IMDB, and neither was wearing a wedding ring in The 505 Podcast on Jan 21, 2025. You sure you're thinking of the same thing?

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Dylan is from Ohio. When he won the Columbus Dispatch interviewed him.

Last nights SB commercials:

1. Let us spy on you with ai.
2. 80s vignette filters for some fucking reason.
3. TAXES!!!
4. YAY! GAMBLING!!!!
5. Jeezus.
6. Snake oil.

5 months ago | Likes 66 Dislikes 1

Taxes? Ill admit I havent watched the superbowel in years.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Commercial to file your taxes online with some App.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh, the fuckers lobbying to keep the tax code confusing if they can afford a superbowl commercial they are aright ip thieves

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The commercial that prettymuch advertised that AI will be taking your job was weird.

5 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

I didn't see it, but I'd be willing to bet that wasn't an ad for you, that was an ad for the c-suite and executive dickheads.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah. They're trying to normalize it and act like it'll be a good thing for us!

We can live in a utopia and not work.

It won't. Not at all.

If they made the commercial with UBI, M4A and such, *maybe* Id go for it.
