One of my favorite scenes in any movie because haven't we all been in this same situation?

Knowing that the actor that played the Principal was busted for csam really adds to the movie.

Makes him trying so hard to catch Ferris extra creepy.

There is a fan theory out there that Ferris wasn't real, and Cameron was just imagining having a cool friend to escape from being physically abused by his father and sexually by the principle.

Also Ferris took his sister on a ride in Ireland and killed two people.

He's a righteous dude

Charlie Sheen got his small but impactful role bc Jennifer Grey recommended him, and then he prepared for it by staying up for two days straight…

His role was originally a bit larger. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ferris_Bueller%27s_Day_Off#Deleted_scenes

Neat, thanks!
Appreciate the link as well, instead of just by fiat.

#20 The ’61 Ferrari 250 GT was actually a replica called the GT Spyder California which John Hughes decided to use because it would be substantially less expensive. Powered by a 195 h.p. ’63 V8, the two driveable cars built had different transmissions because Broderick reportedly couldn’t handle a manual. The replica builders were sued for using Ferrari’s prancing horse and had to stop production. Original 250 GT's sell for $18 million, one movie replica restored by the makers sold for $396,000.

Abe Fromann - the sausauge king of Chicago

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why is Abe Froman in so many of these pictures? Was he involved with the movie or something?

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It saddens me that I appear to be the only person to get this.

When Cameron was in Egypt's land ...

Leather jacket, white T-shirt, sweater vest. DEVASTATINGLY handsome.

I saw Ferris pass out at 31 flavors last night.

He coughed up a lung.

I guess it's pretty serious.

Thank you Sloane

It was Simone. :) The actress played Buffy in the original Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie.

1 month ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Right. She's also at the end of Pretty In Pink as Duckette. And in Dude Where's My Car. But will always be Simone to me.

#13 so that's how it is in their family?

I do have to say, that looks to be the only picture where Mia Sara seems happy

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

People keep saying this, but I don't understand the reference.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Sounds like it's time for you to watch the movie again

I was at the Art Institute of Chicago last summer and headed specifically to see the artwork that was in the movie as they are all part of the museum's permanent collection.

I was walking up the stairs to the second floor modern art section and coming down the stairs were two guys cosplaying as Ferris and Cameron down to every last detail. It was beautiful.

I said to them, "Ferris Bueller, you're my hero."

Yes, please.

No thank you, I'm straight.

Man, Mia Sara was (and still is) truly beautiful.

There was a summer in middle school where this was the only DVD we owned, and I watched it every single day. Great memories with this movie, and still one of my favorite.

Love seeing Dave Wakeling in the first photo.

I scrolled down here to see if anyone mentioned it. I thought it was him, but wasn’t 100%. I assume he was there since “Rotating Heads” was in the sequence where Ferris is trying to beat his parents home.

They were going to make a movie about the valet drivers and their day with the car. It recently got shelved. Kinda bummed about it.

Ah shit. I heard about that movie. Bummer.

1 month ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

That's a shame. It would've been hilarious

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

The possibilities were endless other than the guys and the car had to look in perfect shape except how many miles they clocked. Fingers crossed some executive dusts off the script.

Life looks like it was so much better back then

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It was. I miss those times.

Thanks, man. I'm an old fan. These shots are great, and John Hughes' quaff was amazing!

I too am an old fan, saw it in the theatre. Still remember catching the end credits when most people were half out the door. No offence... "coiffe"

#1 The picture looks an awful lot like Charlie Sheen was supposed to stand in that upper left corner, and that he bailed on the shoot and took the day off.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He got arrested, didnt you see the movie!

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Fun fact, more than fifteen years before Margot Robbie, Mia Sara was actually the first person to play Harley Quinn in live action on a short lived Smallville spinoff on The WB.

1 month ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

It wasn’t actually a Smallville spinoff, was it? There wasn’t any cross-over with Smallville to my knowledge. It was just another DC/CW show.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It never did cross over but it mightve if it had continued, cuz Smallville universe didnt have a Batman, or mightve been a multiverse thing like the first couple seasons of the Arrowverse. Mercy Reef was going to be a spinoff at some points but then they went and changed Aqauamen so who knows.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nope. Came out before Smallville. In face Smallville originally started as a "young Batman" series, but then the execs said NO - you can' use Batman on TV. So they reworked it into young Superman.

Who's the lady with the shades?

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Jennifer Grey, now best known for Dirty Dancing and getting nose job that made her almost unrecognisable, killing her career just as it was taking off.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Nowadays, I could not recognize her even if were sitting on the other side of the kitchen table.

Holy jeez, I didn’t recognize her!
