Bees, with pollen all over their furry little butts, take naps in flowers

Sometimes bumblebees get tired from flying and fall asleep in flowers with pollen all over their little furry bee butts.

I didn’t know this

I find it cute, but unsettling

Do bees slack off very often?

Do they say, “look at the size of her bee butt?”

You can barely tell there’s a bumble bee in some of these pics

I guess petunias make good beds

more accurate to call it a bee napping bee

That’s a lot of pollen

I wonder if they ever get heyfever

I wonder if bees sneeze

I never thought about bee naps, so why not bee sneezes?

I like that we can see the pollen sac on her leg in this picture.

I wonder how the photographer found all of these napping bees.

just learned: outside their nests, bees are sleeping in big flowers ... wow ... I had no clue ... TY for posting that??
