It’s definitely not perfect but I am so proud of this coat as i really do not have a lot of sewing experience. This coat was a BEAST. 61 hours of craft time!!! I work a full time day job so this basically took me all of April to make.
The base pattern was purchased from MadsFive and altered; first a mockup and then the real fabric (stretch denim). Each of the topstitched moons and stars were hand cut and sewn into place and the entire trim was satin stitched. All the light blue moons were cut on a Cricut Joy Xtra onto heat transfer vinyl and the decal template was from Raisin Cosplay. The moon button STLs were also from Raisin Cosplay, and the arm armor STL was from SilverPanther3D on Etsy. These pieces were resin printed on an Elegoo Saturn.
I’m trying to con crunch and make the rest of the cosplay in a week (!!!!) so please wish me luck!!
