Women not being able to distinguish fantasy from reality.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 5

There may come a day when women distinguish reality from fantasy!.....BUT THAT IS NOT THIS DAYY!

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

As a dude, I would be alllll over Aragorn or Faramir...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I look exactly like a Tolkien character. The mouth of sauron's handsome right? Hey laaadddiiieeessss

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I credit my dad

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Your expectations for hobbits must be trough the roof

9 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

I assume expectations for Hobbits aren't so... High.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Oh my god. This explains so much. Yes. Thank you.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At least Tolkien was realistic...

9 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 9

Oh dear lord I hope that's sarcasm haha

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Fantasy species aside, most races were great, fell from a stupid mistake, and work to become great again. That's human nature all wrapped up

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Numenoreans?

9 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

The bloodline of Numenor is all but spent

9 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 2

I blame my father. But I'm a dude, so it's really about self disappointment.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thats such a boramir thing to say

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I am the king of gondor.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Surely Peter Jackson is to blame?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

How is that not the first comment in a community that loves being accurate?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Need me a man who can save the world...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Then you need a hobbit. Samwise to be sure.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You bow to no man.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a guy with dark eyes, I just hate the fact that nearly every "hot" LOTR character had green or blue eyes, like they're superior somehow.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

I love eyes with soul, dont care about color as long as they're expressive :)

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

The same goes for Victoria secret models, even the black girls have light eyes

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

A lot of actors have light eyes

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Bow down to blue eyed superiority peasant

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

I love brown eyes, and HATE blue eyes. They make me distrustful of the person

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 14

:(

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

You're an irrational person that bases your trust on someone on a totally random genetic trait

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I've typically never had positive experiences with people that have blue eyes. I've always found them to be sneaky.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

There is no scientific basis whatsoever linking eye colour and personality traits. It's like saying mobile imgur users believe nonsense.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My personal experience, lessons learnt, and instinct help me determine how to live my life. I don't know why this is such a big deal to you

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

....but why though

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Have you read the Stormlight Archive? You should read the Stormlight Archive.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Finishing up the first book right now. Listening to it and I have an hour out of 45 hours left. It's been quite the journey.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*looks it up* Well that's just great lol

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Don't mind me. I'm just here to upvote ME username. <3

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The shepard shuffle is where its at :P

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Blame Peter Jackson

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I love Erogon.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Wraithbusters?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Faramir was the best. (In the book. He got totally shafted in the movies.)

9 years ago | Likes 335 Dislikes 4

His eyes!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

While Faramir was admittedly badass, no he was not the best. That title belongs to Beren.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He got that cool song by pippin in his background tho.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I really got the hots for Denethor II post immolation but pre plunge to death.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd shaft him so hard ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Agreed. I'm the "younger brother" in my family though, so it was really easy to identify with him and I might be biased.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Lol definitely.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Berens cool too

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

That's such a boromir thing to say!

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I liked him in the movie also.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Also Nearamir. And don't forget Whereveryouareamir.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

RIGHT? The ONLY human to say "Nope! Take the ring, take it now, take it far the hell away."

9 years ago | Likes 179 Dislikes 2

You mean outside Aragorn looking at the offered ring in Frodo's hand and making a point of closing Frodo's hand over it and sending him off?

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Blah numenorean yadda might as well be an elf blah blee, but that's true.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

He said that in the extendeds though

9 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 2

After he basically kidnapped them and took them to Osgiliath.

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 1

That was such a *huge* part of not only his character, but the entire host of characters by contrast. Faramir was pure in the books.

9 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

Pure? Not after I met him!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And the brother of the guy who tried to take it by force.

9 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Out of love and desperation tho. (An explanation not an excuse)

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Which is what Galadriel talks about.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pretty sure Boromir got shafted worse.

9 years ago | Likes 65 Dislikes 0

Boromir was always my favorite.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Damn.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Got em

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

arrow shafted. multiple times.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

As a screenwriter I understand why they did it, but it also lessens the tragedy of Boromir, which is a shame.

9 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 1

Was it for the same reason that they padded the Hobbit so egregiously?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

money money money!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, heard the studio wanted a trilogy, but the script was for two movies, so they padded and messed up the art of storytelling.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Its same as why Frodo got all the good Hobbit lines. We only have a few hrs so the main plot has to be bout main characters.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

few hours?! the extended cuts are all 36 hours/movie

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 5

Lols. 12.? Hrs in total

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

feels like 36 hours/movie

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1
