Hear me out. We already know Kamala is much more energetic and relatable than Biden. We already know Lorne Michaels is gonna bring Maya back when next season starts.
But y'all, get this:
Next season is SNL's 50TH season
The season premiere is September 28.
The cold open is gonna start with Maya but Kamala is going to appear to deliver the "live from New York, it's Saturday Night".
I'm calling it now! It's a huge media push, it'll buy a week of headlines, esp if she's in a skit that goes viral.
In FL, at least, voter registration doesn't close until October 7.
This is all very wishful thinking and probably wildly off the mark. But whatever, it would be awesome.
