thereby paving the way for him to be President again...The Dems had 4 years to get it together and put forward a real candidate- have a real platform- or just prosecute him and not wait to the last minute....and they are rolling out Biden again....and there is Garland who would have preferred to do nothing and just be a place holder- maybe pick on a few Dems because they are easy targets- bloody useless incompetent party...which is our only choice unless we go with the American Nazis- aka GOP

Bloody hell

It is obvious (to me) that he’s trying every delaying tactic possible so a verdict can’t be reached before the election. Then the real evil begins

I'm wondering if SCOTUS are deliberately delaying their ruling on this (regardless of their decision) knowing it delays the trial enough so it doesn't impact the election

good thing this isn't the only case
bippityboppitybuttsex
There is a case pending appeal that has been agreed to be heard by the Supreme Court, proceeding with his prosecution while that is pending would be reckless... this is normal process... TBH, I think him being on trial during the RNC convention is hilarious to me... ideally, he will still be on trial during the election and it be broadcast every day.

Sadly, there is other things going on in those cases too. Fani Willis (the DA) just admitted to a relationship with the lead prosecutor. Trump's lawyer will argue that the relationship is improper and probably ask for a major delay. The other case is in Florida, being resided over by a Trump appointed judge, who would love to delay the trial until after the election.

2nd amendment has a solution for this kind of tyranny.

Why has there not been a go fund me to pay for the sniper that will take this jackass out?

Because vigilantism is bad, and political assassinations are the type of shit fascists do.

Biden should also ask the supreme court to weigh in on the absolute presidential immunity thing, so we can all find out once and for all of he is allowed to send navy seals to take out his political rival. They'll say no, and that'll put an end to that bullshit so we can move on with locking up the rotten trumpkin.

The supreme court, like all US courts, isn’t allowed to give advisory opinions. They have to hear actual cases and controversies. So, they can only hear that issue in this instance if a lower court grants immunity and the case is appealed, or if tramp appeals a decision that goes against him. Usually no appeals on single issues in a case, unless they’re injunctions or would be moot if not ruled on immediately. Only final decisions can be appealed, as a general rule.

This is why it's so important to have him defeated in November, because there's still a possibility he's elected and pardons himself
Clockworkdancerobot
Or if one of his cronies or other GOP shitstain gets in office, THEY will pardon him.
funone77
Can't pardon state crimes.
UserestOfNames
He tried to take the country back, I don't think something like that will stop him
funone77
Oh I hear you. If he wins, I think it's just a matter of time before journalists get imprisoned or worse.
