Almost mowed over these fluffers

Was cutting grass when suddenly one of their brothers or sisters decided to make their existence known in the tall grass by jumping in front of the lawnmower.
Glad i noticed you there, buddy.

They sat completely still while the big scary human was tiptoeing and counting the amount of these fluffballs in the tall grass

Spotted a pair huddling together

The same pair, in total saw 5 of these jumping fuzzballs.
Needless to say, cutting the grass ended quite short.
Maybe after a few weeks when these small critters can hop away from danger, i'll continue to cut the grass.
Didn't see any poor soul being hurt by the blades from where i already did cut the grass, nor did i touch them.
