I was asleep when I heard the news in 2016. I fell asleep with the TV on, and half woke up in the middle of the night to hear that he had won. My stomach dropped to my feet. It would be a nice bookend to hear this when I'm sleeping.

When I was driving home from work once I saw someone on their cellphone. I drove past a gas station and I saw two more people on their cellphones. This was a while ago and it was *very* uncommon to see people on their cellphones. I realized at once something was up. I turned on my radio and found out Michael Jackson had died. I expect this will be a very similar thing when it happens.

I play video games for about 6 to 8 hours straight basically every day. Single player games. Every time I get out of a session, first thing I do is check the few places I post to see if it happened and I just didn't know it yet. I'm so disappointed every time as well.

I configured Steam to add the FPS on the top right corner of the screen. Maybe you can do the same to add a "Not yet" below it (or "YES!" in case it happened… or better, full screen popup)
