Seeing my wife huff and puff around in short shorts and just a bra while getting worked up in the cutest way about how hot it is will never fail me from making me fall in love all over again.
That said, falling asleep is a pain in the ass, I'm one of those people that need a cover to fall asleep.

Why don't you just keep it on your side??

During these hot nights, I switch to using a non-fitted bed sheet as a blanket. I get the sensation of blanket, but much more breathable. Absolute game changer, for me at least.

Is that not something that everyone does?

I tried this but I needed the weight of a regular blanket. A sheet wasn't enough. I need to get that aluminum linked blanket that gets posted around here from time to time.

Have you thought about getting bamboo sheets? I initially got mine to help my dust mite allergy, but I find them to be cooling too.
ThisNameIsMaybeTaken
I have not. Never occurred to me. But I am intrigued!

Bamboo and Egyptian cotton are on the cooler end of the cotton type sheets. But if you dont mind paying more, silk is even cooler, and more comfortable, just feels weird for the first week or two if you've only had cotton. Theres some good charts online that tell you how cool different materials are compared to each other. And theres also some cool type comforters that you can try while still enjoying the weight
