Cake Day Medieval Mega Post

This is not my first imgur account. But it's this account's cake day, so I decided to make a collection of some of the best photos I've snapped of the Berliner Rittergilde over the years.

Our martial art is different in the aspect that you have to react to hits. Theatrics is part of it, but it's not scripted.

We can muster quite a little army when we want.

This was not staged, but it turned out quite artsy.

Oh and we also have an artillery section.

Training is sometimes exhausting, taking a nap is fine. This isn't the army.

It can never be cold enough. Fighting in a gambeson is very warm. -10C and under is comfortable.

Spears are fun and tactical in combination with team mates using a shield.

We have quite a lot of archers too

And even cavalry

And sometimes we're hired to be in front of the camera.
