I'm not sure if the Chosen One is Anakin, and it has me panakin.
They call Anakin the Chosen One all throughout the Prequels and The Clone Wars, and in Return of the Jedi he seemingly fulfills the prophecy by killing Rey's grandfather and even destroying the Sith within himself. That said...
In Rebels, when Obi-Wan cuts down Maul like he's a rank amateur (I'm not salty), upon seeing Luke in the distance, Maul asks Obi-Wan if the boy he has been protecting is the Chosen One. Obi-Wan says he is. On the flip side to Vader, Luke destroys the Sith in Return of the Jedi by bringing his father back to the Light and resisting te Dark. But yet...
Rey obliterates her clonefather and nukes all the Sith ghosts in Episode 9, which presumably rids the galaxy from Sith once and for good.
The directors of these films say different things. I've even heard it said in Lucas' original nine-episode saga it'd be Leia. The sources I've read seem to lean Anakin, but don't make a stong case as to why.
So I'm at a loss. Is it Anakin? Is it Luke, Leia, or Rey? Is it my boy Sheev? Grogu? Heck, is it Broom Boy?

It always seemed like Anakin to me, he brought balance to force. There used to be thousands of Jedi, but only like 2 Sith.
