I love a slice of toasted panettone in the winter with some cream cheese or mascarpone or whipped goat cheese spread on top. Homemade fruitcake can also be delightful.

We make fruit cake here around Christmas time. Cant keep it in stock. And its not cheap either.
Used to get the one made at the Arizmendi's bakery in San Francisco every year. Amazing stuff.
