My Axolotl Spirit Guide is going to Burning Man! Here's my first render of the sculpture :)

The monumental axolotl becomes more real every day! I've been really excited to render these previews of my sculpture for Burning Man '23 and show the two very different aspects of the mythical creature.

During the day and due to the triangle-based aluminum structure, a maze of shadows will be cast by the sculpture.
Hours later, at night, the fiber optic gills and dorsal fin will illuminate in different color gradients.

Can't wait to start welding this beauty... In the meantime, stay tuned for the soon-to-come kickstarter campaign to build this behemoth.
