Based on my experiences with my little heeler, he probably just had a bath, too!
There is no time when my little Riddle finds it more pleasurable to roll around on the ground than immediately after we get home from giving her a bath.

At least he's not alternating between his dig spot and pool like my Leia. So much muddy paws and snoot, her freshly filled pool is now a pig wallow, and when you try to clean/dry her off she wrestles you
