Another set back another shout into the void

*sigh* July 8 went in for abdominal pain. Sent home four hours later. Sunday rolls around and I am in excruciating pain. Go back to hospital in tears. Finally told you have a massive infection and we need to start you on antibiotics. Five hours go by in emergency room. Nobody comes. I have a full on anxiety attack wanting to dip as the level of care I received wasn’t what reflected my problem. I could go septic as y’all lollygag. Doctor finally comes to speak tells me that my blood work from Friday show in my white blood cells the infection. They did nothing. My WBC was at 15 on Friday and 12.5 on Sunday….they knew it was there and did nothing. Get told to my face it’s not an std sti or pid. But you have what we call a tubal ovarian abscess that is caused by bacteria. They discharged me and still out pid. *big sigh* I spent four days admitted to the hospital on three iv antibiotics and sent home with two antibiotics orally until they tell me to stop. I have to be out of my apartment on July 31st. I’ve missed crucial work days and do not know what to do. I’ll be homeless. I’m on bed rest and can’t lift over five pounds. I am stressed out. I’m overwhelmed I have two jobs and idk how I’ll afford to just get there. I’ve tried asking the landlord for more time as I am sick currently and in all honesty being in the hospital as set me back. I’ve never been more frustrated. Being a woman and just advocating for yourself to get people to especially doctors to listen is astoundingly hard. The lady who sent me home told me I didn’t look sick enough. As I laid there with my vagina out and bleeding after a speculum was shoved up there to check for pelvic inflammation. There was none. She told me that. Yet I just didn’t look sick enough. I walked around having one of the rarest strokes and my blood pressure didn’t reflect that either. How sick does one have to be before they are taken seriously?
Zero obligation to help me. I just need help I have applied for assistance but that’s still about 20 days out for approval.

The bottom thing: massive infection, shrugged off by doctors, on two very intense antibiotics, missed crucial work days, being a woman is hard, I didn’t look sick enough, is this malpractice or misdiagnosis?

Admitted waiting to be “healthy” enough to be released on their fuck up.

I have the same insurance I did when I had my stroke a few years back. No bills. I am happy to have insurance in general.

Yes. It’s guaranteed. Hopefully that is. Things and policies and coverages change. So we shall see.

Even with insurance somethings fall between the cracks.
