Biglaw firms were in talks with the Trump administration to avoid becoming victims of his far-reaching and likely unconstitutional executive orders. We now know that Kirkland & Ellis, Latham & Watkins, A&O Shearman, Simpson Thacher, and Cadwalader have all inked deals with Trump — and they’re far worse than the already bad deals other Biglaw firms like Skadden, Milbank, Willkie, and Paul Weiss got.
Kirkland, Latham, Simpson, and A&O Shearman were among the Biglaw firms threatened with EEOC investigations concerning their DEI practices; with their pro bono payola deals, those menacing EEOC claims have now disappeared.

I truly hope many big money corporate companies cancel ties with these lowlife 'law' companies. This creature that was 'elected' POTUS will do everything and anything to protect his own ass. The abject abuse of his position should be called out in congress ................ but we all know that won't happen. Balls and backbones have disappeared in congress :(

I do think there's a 50/50 chance that if Trump just keeled over that things would fizzle out. I have a lot of concerns about Vance because he has better executive function than Trump, but I'm also not sure that he could command the loyalty of the sheeple the same way, and that is very important to Trump's control of the GOP. Bonus points if Trump dies in a way that makes them blame Vance and Johnson for not doing enough to stop it.
