Originally wanted to have an LED for the middle gem to make it glow but settled for a flat finish as I wanted this to be a functional pouch I could put my phone/wallet in (incredibly valuable for cons)

I love The Witcher and some of its fantasy armor designs which tend to lean towards more realistic, but TW3 really abandoned that (usually the shit-tier armor was more realistic than the Witcher Armor). Skimpifying Saskia and Ciri I always thought was a bad choice.
I like what TW2 did with Geralt, where it was more like having monster encyclopedias and magic/curse books hanging off of him.

So I can get really janky when it comes to making my cosplays - this was a painted piece of card stock covered in hot glue and then heated up to even out the surface area and give it that epoxy look

I got super lucky - Joann’s fabric store sold it as a little charm! The only thing I had to do was paint and weather it because it came silver instead of bronze

If you'll put valuables in it during a con, might I suggest a magnet or clip, something strong enough that if someone goes to lift the flap, you'll feel it.

Magnetic clasps are really common in handbags. There are plenty of other secure options though, to be sure.
