All 3 of my cats were adults at adoption, one was actually scheduled to be put down the next day. I do not have time for kittens

I want to adopt a dog but I'm gone 12+ hours a day from home and it just feels like they wouldn't get the time they deserve to spend with me

Yes, same here. Although I prefer cats to dogs anyway.

I like both. One of my life goals is to have a house with a big yard and two or three dogs. And maybe more cats if they get along.

Why old?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Just older, not talking 8, 9, 10.. even the 2-4 year Olds get overlooked.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

people don't adopt older dogs because they may only have a few years with them, so they get put down if they can't be fostered
