A happy holiday to you all!!

Been a rough December. My father went into the hospital on the 14th. Family told me it was a brain bleed and he was pretty much being kept alive by the ventilator. We all knew that wasn't what he wanted, so I had to get an emergency flight from Boston, MA to Kansas City, MO. I got there and was able to say hello and goodbye. Then we made the decision to extubate, and he was gone within a few minutes after the machines were off. He passes early in the morning on the 15th.
