How to make cheap fire starters. A step by step guide.

Aug 19, 2016 6:46 AM

Mix equal parts sawdust and dryer lint.

For the best fire starters, use...

Do not boil/melt directly. Melt wax in a pot above boiling water.

For easy clean up...

Stuff lint/saw dust mixture into egg carton. Put carton onto lined cookie sheet.

Pour melted wax liberally over stuffed egg carton.

Should end up like this biatch.

You'll be left over with more saw dust than lint. DO NOT PANIC.

Cut apart them bitches.

What happened to the extra sawdust? Or are you just reassuring us that it's okay to have some sawdust in your home?

It is ok. Sawdust is a naturally occurring phenomenon.

Dryer lint from cotton only - synthetics could give you a toxic mess.

Bc when I'm starving and freezing to death in the wild I'll be real concerned about toxicity

I highly doubt you'd even consider carrying one of these out there.
