#1 I live in the San Juan Islands where this took place. American Camp (South end of SJI) is a lot of prairie, and very beautiful in a stark sort of way with an awesome view of the Olympics. British (North end) is very British, with tea gardens and officers quarters and trees and rose bushes.

It seems kinda weird though. If you litter then you are the owner. Thus they should either pay the fine and get it back, or they will have lost it if it's seen as free space goodies. If the latter, but also considered littering then Oz need to give a fine to themself.

Never seen the Pig War Museum, but the Whale Museum (no war, aside from the one the Oras are waging, but that's not covered here) is still there. I live one island over.

I had a boat on Lopez for a year-ish, it could be the museum was in the Gulf Islands and not on San Juan. The museum was private funded, one of the dioramas had people playing poker, one of them was a pile of fabric (laundry?) with a poncho and a hat on it for one of the players. It was unforgettable, the whole thing we had 4 people and were the only visitors. The lady who let us in was small & elderly, & so plead to see us!
