I wish I could post about every state, but even the ones you might not expect showed up today!
I understand that people had a lot of fears about whether these protests were legit, but PLEASE let this be a message to those who were unsure. We showed up! And we need more people to show up next time. Take precautions, remain peaceful, but show up.
If you physically can't show up, visit your local representative's office, go to your closest city hall, or call your representatives. This movement needs to grow.
It was great to see the comfort and happiness people felt when they were united and saw that they were not alone. Protests may just be the antidote to all the hopelessness you're feeling.
I called in to work, I got up early, I drove over 6 hours, and I don't regret it! Even if the crowd in my state wasn't massive.
