Entirely dependent on what the axle is rated for. They are typically about 3500lbs but could as high as 10000lbs.

Its been a few years now and a quick update. Its still solid and going strong. We had 2 kids since and didn't get to use it as often as planned. But it pulls beautifully, like its not even there. I made the post to show those who had thoughts of doing the same thing could have something to look at. It was tough to find useful things on the internet. So, best wishes to you all.

Its aluminum 40 and 60 mil (60 is real close to a 1/16inch) and i dont know how they color it. I got it from a racing buddy.

Not able to stand. 52 inches tall inside. But with the 8 in bed its probaby around 46 to 48 once you sink in the 10 year old memory foam

Why too heavy? Perhaps for your Prius but any mid size truck or larger could handle no problem. It’s just a big box of air.

I dunno, my 18ft wildwood has brakes with a brake controller interface, I also use e2 sway control just so I know I won't have issues.

you should be fine. thats a 5 lug 14 inch wheels so most likely a 3500 lbs axle.at best trailer and camper weights around 1200-1400 lbs.

the biggest draw back is no trailer brakes. but you can install those with a kit as long as the tow vehicle has a 7 pin round plug
