As a journalist....

I've been in journalism for the last 10 years. Small network first, then now big network. I've seen people getting killed, lots of car accidents, people severely injured, houses burned down, criminals getting their ways, lots of people loosing their jobs beacuae of a factory is closing, abuse of all sorts and sadly seen too many young children loosing their lives (mostly in car/snowmobile accidents (yeah, I'm from Canada..)) Even if I'm not consider the most journalistic journalist by a lot of other journalist covering big stuff, I like to think that I bring informations, smiles, hope and even help to some people.

It's not that I mind what you do, it's that I mind how news/society prioritises things that make you feel over things you need to know.

I know. Imagine now how it is in the journalism world when my stories get better reach/reading compared to bigger stories (corruption, etc.)

Some journalists hate us. With a passion.

You'll never be as bad as the people that write kick bait articles at least.
