Pumpkins: Day 35

Another one of MTV's Liquid Television gems. The series follows the adventures of the titular hero Maxx in reality, and in an alternate reality, referred to as the Outback. In the real world, the Maxx is a vagrant, a "homeless man living in a box", while in the Outback, he is the powerful protector of the Jungle Queen. She exists in the real world as Julie Winters, a freelance social worker who often bails Maxx out of jail. While he is entirely aware of the Outback, Julie is not, though it is integral to both of their stories, as a great villain by the name of Mr. Gone and his acolytes, the Isz, antagonizes them both. Great watch for lovers of animation. Created by Sam Keith and William Messner-Loebs.
