Oh man, my grandpa had a new one when I was a kid. Kinda turquoise color and it had push button gear shift.
It was the coolest little car.

I've got the coupe version in my shed for restoration if I ever get to it. It's 'complete' but I'm seriously thinking of bringing body and interior to 'restored' (with maybe some unobtrusive modern conveniences) and then making the drive-train electric.

They resell easy-peasy... We hung onto it for 3 years, and just tooled around with it, then I sold it for $3500... dude nearly broke his arm giving me the cash for it- I backed it onto his car carrier and he took it home 3 states away... I found myself never having enough time and money for it- so I passed it on... and there were a lot of willing takers, I just went for the first one that put cash on the barrelhead and gave'er a new home...
