I’m poor and I approve this message!

I'm not an economist, but I was under the impression that the super rich take loans against their unrealised gains, but eventually those loans will have to be paid back when they die, and when the loans get paid, the unrealised gains have to be realised to pay for it, and therefore get taxed. So... Technically, we do live in a Piñata Economy. It's just nobody's tried getting the bat out a little early.

The class struggle.

considering the changes in some health insurance companies in the last few days, this may be a provable hypotheses.

I know it's not a popular opinion but trickle down economics does exist in a sense. My Malaysian mate grew up without a couch in his house. That would never happen in Australia because people give them away for free all the time. Trickle down wealth doesn't manifest as cash.
Still a bullshit concept but it does exist in some form

I love the sentiment but Agrias was literally the bodyguard to a princess.

She'd been shipped off to a monastery, but still.

I just liked the artwork as well. Didn't know who the character was. Assumed they were a knight of some kind which is always a tool of the ol bourgeoisie one way or the other.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Generally, yeah, though not always in Final Fantasy Tactics (the game the character's from). Wiegraf, who starts a rebellion because he and other commoners that fought in a war got screwed out of their promised pay, is depicted as a knight (has a unique White Knight class, even), but he's not a noble and he's dedicated to fighting them.

There's other twists on the concept there, since the abuses of peasantry by the aristocracy are a major part of the story.

Agrias was one of the good ones, but her angle was all about protecting her Princess from the nobles trying to use her for political gain. She (and said princess) sympathize with the oppressed, and do help them, but her primary motivations are duty and loyalty.

As @Syovere said, Wiegraf Folles would be the one attacking the inequality itself. Sadly, he would fall from those ideals after certain incidents, changing his motive more to revenge.

I'm still waiting for the Reaganomics Trickle-Down to reach me. (Yes. I'm old.)

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Oh, it has reached everyone. Problem is, the trickle-down is yellow. We've been pissed upon.

You have a plan that involves you doing anything?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 7

Like writing snarky comments to try and feel superior to mask how absolutely fucking useless you are?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You’re not going to do anything either

I like this one. But remember folks, there's more than one way to beat a billionaire! You can shoot them, set them on fire, drown them in a foot bath, hang them from a church bell tower... I mean the possibilities are endless. But remember, the oldies are goodies for a reason. Guillotines and iron maidens existed for a reason

Guillotines existed because the Frenchman wanted to end the horror of a botched execution with all the screaming and thrashing. Much to his dismay, his technology was used to kill a bunch of people.
TNT exist because Alfred Noble wanted to invent a safer explosive than nitroglycerin. Much to his dismay his technology was used to kill a bunch of people.
Iron maidens didn't really exist.

These are also the same reasons sar bomba existed. And the neutron bomb. As well as so many other weapons of war and genocide. It was smart men (and women) coming up with something so horrible that men had no choice but to just give up bc the deaths were so horrible.
And in the history of creating bigger and badder, and just following orders, and this is so gruesome that everyone will just give up, not ONE SINGLE SANE INDIVIDUAL GAVE UP. Go figure. Humans are parasites

This is dangerous information to spread! You must remember to cap the bottle, then tie the cloth around the neck. Safety first, then teamwork 🙂

Anyone else remember footage of the Ukrainians adding broken up Styrofoam to their bottles? I wonder what that does.
