I thought for sure they lost Starship at this point, but despite the flap being on fire it still worked. The camera broke, the flap held on until splashdown.

Quite honestly the most intense hour of video I've watched in a long time.
Huge props to the SpaceX people who made this shit happen and succeed despite having a shambling turd as a boss.

SpaceX got some amazing engineers and staff. disregard the dancing monkey figurehead. those engineers and mission controllers deserve a huge pat on the back. space is hard, and they are knocking it out of the park. the next iteration will be even better :)
