That goes both ways. Not being able to stop Net isn't fucking consent either.

Some of you seem to forget who is the largest financial backer of Hamas. By decrying the atrocities Israel is committing and not also condemning Hamas, you are playing right into the hands of Iran and giving them what they want.

Silence is not complicity

And we do condemn Hamas. But child captives are not Hamas.

"I don't like an ad, so I'm going to try and make more people see it" seriously what the fuck goes through these peoples heads

You're missing the point. The point is, Imgur isn't supposed to be running right-wing ads, but we're catching them do it again and again, and showing us this abhorrent complacency is raising awareness. I'm getting the sense that when we report one ad, they just replace it with another one.

First, it was an AfD ad, now this. First is an aberration, second is a coincidence. If we see a third, we'll know it's a trend and if we see a fourth, we'll know it's a decision.

Perhaps and I’m just going out on a limb here…Imgur should stop doing business with the company serving hardcore right wing ads that people have been reporting and vocally complaining about for months.

Ad Networks are there to sell ads. If someone buys up a huge number of words and profiles of people they want to peddle to, pretty sure they'll ALL take the cash. The scrutiny at the ad network level is low, it's why so many scams and spyware tends to fall through. The problem is Money trumps any accountability.

And that is why we run every iteration of an Adblock. It's now a security precaution. Seeing as corporations and bad actors are going to jump on the bandwagon to fight adblockers, we'll need to move to Linux soon as a second layer of security.

Now, if adware writers want to pick a fight with the Linux community? The *global* community? All I gotta say to that is: Good luck.
