So, as an update from my previous post...as part of my cancer treatment, I had a colostomy and a urinary catheter put in. The colostomy has been fine, the catheter just would not work. Many trips to ER later, they finally pulled the catheter, admitted me, and did a CT to see what was up. They saw an 'abcess' and placed a drain in it (one of my doctors doesnt think it was actually an abcess). Im a couple days out of the hospital now, and every doctor ive seen has said that as long as im passing urine fine, i shouldnt need the catheter put back. Hooray.
As more of an update in general...ive now done 10 days of chemo/radiation. Supposed to have roughly 28 days of radiation total. 6 months of chemo total. And then tests to see whats left in the area and maybe do some surgeries to fix things. Doc said I need to try and focus on just the cancer. Any other health things that come up can be dealt with more easily after the cancer is dealt with.
Fuck cancer.

I remember the time I had a catheter. They went to take it out and I was like is there anything I can take for the pain? The said nope! Then yanked it out. I could feel it from deep inside me. Almost made me throw up.

Something has to, since the catheter isn't doing it anymore.
