The recipe is easy to follow but I always forget how much dead time there is when baking.
All in all it took 5 hours. 4-5 hours of waiting and maybe a very chill 30-45 minutes of hands on time.
They turned out pretty well. A tiny bit dark maybe and a bit too much sesame.
I could have rolled them better. Practice makes perfect.
Good crust. Nice and moist. I also did a fairly bad job with making the sesame seeds stick. My countertop looked like a battlefield. Seeds everywhere.
I was happy with the end result and will definitely make them again.
The recipe is from an austrian baking channel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g2Ye3rnKzuA The full recipe is found in a link in the video description. Unfortunately not in english.
Ingredients are: wheat flour, whole rye flour, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, oats, flax seeds, rye malt, bread seasoning, salt, old bread, vegetable oil, honey, yeast, water.
They used roasted rye malt which is not as easily available for me as unroasted rye malt which I used instead.
