Donald Trump asked the Supreme Court on Sunday to let the Post Office refuse to deliver or return ballots that were already in the mail.

North Carolina started mailing ballots on Friday. A federal judge blocked the Postal Service rule the same day because no state can comply with it in time. It requires every state to redesign its ballot envelopes, get the new design approved, and upload each voter's name and address to a federal portal a whistleblower says was never tested. Alabama mails on Tuesday. At least 5 more states follow next week.

Trump's own lawyers told the Court that once those envelopes enter the mail stream, there is no retrieving them. He has spent a decade claiming without proof that American elections are rigged. Now he is the one changing the rules after the voting started. The Constitution assigns the time, place and manner of elections to the states and to Congress, never to a president.

I'm very familiar with Danville, and it is a dying city. There is no real industry after a Goodyear plant shut down 30 years ago, no tourism other than a pretty bad casino, and no other reason for the city to exist other than clinging on to the fact that it was "the last capital of the confederacy."

Funding down payments and deposits is good government, sure, but in that case it's just trapping people into a mortgage in a city that's collapsing.

The current administration threw away the deal we already had, and instigated what he probably honestly thought was going to be a quick-and-easy grab, that is backfiring in his face more times than he can declare peace and/or victory.

Also, I'm not sure we even HAVE diplomats under him. Didn't he recall them all? He wants all 'diplomacy' routed through him, personally, his son-in-law, or the Sofa King. And his idea of 'diplomacy' is strongarm bullying, the only tactic he has ever known.

Yep! Yes on all accounts. Which is why we must stay informed, care for our communities, and remain angry.

#2 Apparently they also tried to do some business in Estonia for their silly eCasinos, but we have rules against those in EU. So nothing gained there , either. If this was Trump, he would have declared everything a win, but these guys are just happy that we are not calling their whole trip for what it is - a failure. They tried, nothing happened. Well, we bombed a lot of civilians, including a girls' school with over 160 kids in it. We raised the price of gas to highs not seen in.... have they been seen? Or is he actually setting records on this? And, by extension, the prices of anything shipped on any vehicles that use petroleum-based fuels ALSO have risen in price.

If you think about it, the U.S. accomplished a lot in this war. ALL OF IT BAD.

That's probably the oddest outcome, because as far as geopolitics go, Putin HATES Israel. He must've been scratching his head about the US helping Israel resulting in his Oil being sold.
