Khârn the Betrayer, finished!

Mar 16, 2020 12:18 PM

So this Covid-19 shit actually gave me a whole weekend to paint this baby.

It was my first "complex" base, too. Skeletons were some old warhammer fantasy miniatures I had lying around for more than a decade. Rocks are broken and cut down corks.

I used a vallejo 028011 grey primer for everything.

I painted his legs, right arm and backpack separate and assembled only once I was sure there was no overlapping and didn't risk ruining parts I had already painted.

I had to be creative with some parts because I didn't have the right colors to obtain the exact colors I had in mind...but I still love how it came out!

Little detail of the axe. I felt like I should've put more blood on it but I liked the clean look more.

Next on the list is him. I'm thinking a KISS-like paint scheme, but I'm afraid it wouldn't be LOUD enough to please Slaanesh.
