51 years old. 260lbs. Dad had quadruple bypass after a heart attack, as did his brother - twice. Their other brother dropped dead in the driveway from a heart attack. Their dad died in the hospital after a heart attack. Gotta do something while I can. I participated in a medicine study last summer - lost 20 pounds in 4 months. Unfortunately, I gained it all back. My wife started GLP back in March, and has already lost 50 pounds! I survived a brutal car accident 30 years ago, so I’m already on my second chance! I will have to post updates…

i do wish you well, but I ain't down with the GLP scene. I'm an obsessive compulsive in all regards. Took me years to teach myself to eat and never be full. I ain't preachin it for everyone, but I started fasting for random durations and coupled it with turning mundane things I do every day into exercises. I'm an eater and, recently, a born again drinker. Nowadays, I am hungry 24/7...but I never indulge and simultaneously turn all everyday chores into exercises. Anywho..if it works for ya, do it

drink water, eat as much protein as you can, and stay active. I lost a lot of weight but it was mostly muscle. things they don't tell you

I am! But when David “Officer Doofy” Sheridan mistook me for Fat Thor, I figured I better do something! ;)

Just an FYI, I dropped 35lbs and kept it off, ate kinda lean 3x a day, and got one of those stationary bikes and rode for 300 calories a day. Took 20-30 minutes, and did that for I think 6 months.

The dude abides. I watched it several weeks ago with a friend who'd never seen it. It's my "You've never seen this? We're watching it." movie hehe
