Found this beaut in my parent's basement. It's coming home with me.

nostalgia

I lost all the everything that went inside Castle Greyskull - chairs, stickers, orange spears, weapons

Always wanted this. Now I can get it, but then I'll have buyer's remorse because the money should have went on necessities.

Always wanted this. I had Snake Mountain. It ruled.

My brother had Snake Mountain. We got a lot of mileage out of that microphone.

My six year olds are watching She-Ra right now and they thought she was saying, "By the power of Preschool!"

I see you have the Point dread add-on.

You Boobs!

I had so many memories with this one. Also Hordac’s cave with the puppet monster.

Snake Mountain was pretty dope too.

And the Slime Pit! SO much fun, yet so damn hard to clean the toys after...

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I used to have it..

That is STILL my dream home

5th birthday present. I still remember the joy of being allowed to stay up 30 minutes past my bedtime to play with it

Ah! Christmas 1983! Best Xmas gift ever!!

Huh. I have the re-release of this sitting on my windowsill, and now I can finally see the differences. They're quite extreme.

By the power of Greyskull....

The MotU figures were great, hands were the perfect size to hold a cocktail sword. And some of them could properly grip a firecracker

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But do you still have both the swords.to unlock it?

This was my prized possession when I was wee. I was strung out on he-man. One day the British army were raiding houses in my street and my mother made us clean our rooms whilst she cleaned the rest of the house. When one of the Brits came into my room i stood so proud with the tidy room and my pride and joy castle grey skull beside me. He took a look around the room, then at me, then booted my castle grey skull against the wall, smashing it i in half, then he waked out…fucking Brit bastards

Damn, that's nuts. What an asshole. Where did you live at the time?

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Derry, Northern Ireland. Still here, different place now though…still hate the brits

It always annoyed me that the door wouldn’t allow He-Man to ride Battlecat through it.

3 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

He was strictly an outdoor cat.

Nice! We still have ours too xD

Kid who lived next to me entered a contest out of a cereal box. Ended winning, won ALL of the Thundercats action figures and vehicles.

It was cool how Mumm-ra was twice as tall as all my he-man characters lol

Does the trapdoor still work? I lost my chair.

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I had to rig it back up, but yeah it works. Man I dropped so many fools through that back in the day.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ah yea! Wasn't there rickety lift in there too that never really worked?

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do you have the key

3 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No (sad face) I got a bunch of figures but no He Man or Skeletor.

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wish I had kept all my old MotU stuff. Did you back the CMON board game?

3 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

There's a line of these out now. Castle Grayskull is one of them. Search Masters of the Universe Origins.

I collect MotU comics, but the toy line is too expensive.

3 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I would have if I'd known about it.

3 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Fair enough… It wasn’t well advertised. I made a post about it, but it was pretty last-minute. It was pretty expensive ($445 usd for All-in). You can still get it on ebay, but it trends towards $650 there.

It is awesome to play and looks great though, I especially love the “lesson of the day” cards that you are supposed to read at the end

3 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I’ve only played the Rescue scenario so far, but I enjoyed it!
